The 2022 EuroHockey Indoor Championships ( Men and Women) will take place on the following dates at the venues stated.
Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2020 competition.
Men’s Indoor Championship – Germany (venue to be announced) – 12-16 January 2022 *
Teams: AUT, BLR, BEL, CZE, GER, NED, RUS, SUI
Women’s Indoor Championship – Germany (venue to be announced) – 12-16 January 2022 *
Teams: AUT, BLR, CZE, GER, NED, RUS, TUR, UKR
European Hockey Federation (EHF) President, Marijke Fleuren, speaking about awarding the Championship events as a joint event to Germany said “We believe that we have made a really excellent decision to award a joint Men’s and Women’s event to the Deutscher Hockey Bund (DHB). Indoor hockey has a special place in the hearts of the German hockey family. We look forward to working with Heiko and his team to deliver a fantastic 5-day festival of hockey for players and fans alike.”

Men’s Indoor Championship II – Paredes (POR), Pavilhão Rota dos Móveis – 14-16 January 2022
Teams: CRO, ESP, ITA, POL, POR, SVK, TUR, UKR
Men’s Indoor Championship III – Nicosia (CYP), CBF Arena (Agios Dometios) – 14-16 January 2022
Teams: CYP, DEN, IRL, LTU, SCO, WAL
Women’s Indoor Championship II – Ourense (ESP), Pazo dos Deportes – 21-23 January 2022
Teams: BEL, CRO, ESP, IRL, LTU, POL, SCO, SUI
Women’s Indoor Championship III – Bratislava (SVK), Dom športu Bratislava – 21-23 January 2022
Teams: DEN, ITA, POR, SVK
Date: in case of 4 teams, the event dates will be 22-23 January. When a 5th team enters late, the event will be played over 3 days.
* Each gender will play 4 consecutive days, but which gender will start on the 12th is not known yet.
Notes:
- Pools will be decided in summer 2021 using the FIH Indoor World Ranking.
- The withdrawal date for all tournaments in this competition is 30 June 2021.
- Any National Association withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by EHF. See current EHF Indoor Championship Regulations for further details.
